Daddy: It's been almost a year. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you. I still have such a hard time believing you are not with us, but I do know that you are in heaven and that makes me feel better. Some days when I am at work, I will have a problem and I think to call you to see what you would do. Somehow I find the answer and I know that you are guiding me.
I love you,
Barbe

Bob will be missed. I still remember the first day I met the Two of you at the rest. Bob had a nitch to make known his roots from chicago and to bring a great conversation & laugh. He will be missed and I will remember him as a great true Cub fan.

When I met him he was Mr. Spitkovsky. Behind his back he was "Friendly Bob". I will remember him as "Friendly Bob". From the first minute I met him he treated me as a friend and I learned so much from his grin and the positive, sincere conversation. I probably, only ran into him six times over the last 20 years and it was always great. Thanks Mr. Spitkovsky for being a great guy and giving me the opportunity to know you and your family.

Your Friend,

Larry Bostick

Dear Barb and family,

We were saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. I thought back on the days in school... we played a lot of ball. With Bob's love for the game, he should have been a professional ball player. I will always remember fondly our outing to a Cubs game many years ago. We kept in touch through all the years he was our agent, reminiscing our younger days. God bless and comfort you and yours during this time. Ray

Dear Bobbie (As I always knew you)

I am greatly sadden by the passing of Bob. I have always thought of you and Bob and the days we spent on the corner at 53rd & Damen and the old Sabre gang

You and Bob met there when you and Nancy Balas would walk by the corner and tease the boys.

Bob was a wonderful friend and faithful husband and father. I know he will be missed by all those that he has touch. Nothing can ever replace him but your memories can also never be erased, keep those close to your heart as I have in mine.

With deepest sympathy, Jack

Dear "Numbers",

I celebrate Uncle Bob's life. Because I knew him, my life is richer. He never ceased to amaze me ~ he was a Godfather without being Italian... he was a Cubs fan without being a North-sider...

Eventhough his #8 is being retired, and I will miss my Uncle, he will live on in my heart & my memory, providing many smiles.

Aunt Barb,

Our love and prayers to you,Barbe, Janice, and Bob, and all of the family. We will walk with a smile remembering Uncle Bob, his awesome laugh and the twinkle in his eyes. These are what we will miss the most. What a joy to have him as my Uncle. Fun times at Cubs Games and skiing will be amongst my fondest memories. Of course the "Al and Bob show" is right up there too. We love you and Uncle Bob always.

I worked with Bob in the Ray Plese district. I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. As a new agent Bob always had a kind word and a word of advice. I always enjoyed his quick wit. It was an honor knowing him. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I just want to say Mom that you and Dad have always been the best parents imaginable for me, Janice and Bobby. We will miss Dad forever and our hearts are broken. I will miss his laugh mostly. You both have always been there for us and our families. I just cannot imagine you without Dad. We will be here for you always though. You are not alone. We love and miss Dad all ready and we love you so much.

Love,

Barbe
