Robert "Bob" Spitkovsky, Jr., age 59, passed away on Friday, September 24th; Beloved son of Barbara (nee Beback) and the late Robert "Bob" Spitkovsky, Sr.; Dearest brother of Barbara (James) Wilcox and Janice Wilson; Cherished uncle of Kristi (Kevin) O'Leary, Jamie (Jon) Kalina, Kenton (Adrienne) Wilson, Reid (Haley) Wilson and Joel (Julie) Wilson; Great uncle of Ethan, Tyler, Chloe, Austin, Briana, Peyton and Delaney; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and trusted and loyal Golden Retriever Theo. Visitation Monday, October 4th, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the ADOLF FUNERAL HOME (KUBINA-TYBOR DIRECTORS) 7000 Madison, Willowbrook. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, October 5th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 8404 Cass Avenue, Darien for 10 a.m. Mass. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Justice, IL. 630-325-2300.

Dear Jan, Please know that I have been thinking about you and your family. I remember Bobby as a dear and sweet fellow. Here's a little memory: I vividly remember (as a kid myself) babysitting him once and taking him on a minibike to the trials by your house. BTW, your dad specifically warned me not to take him to the trails! It didn't go well! He fell off and got a little scraped and bruised. I was clearly more freaked out than Bobby! I think it was our little secret! Anyway, I wanted to share a heartfelt memory. I hope you find some comfort and even a little laughter in his memory. In fact, if you have a moment, I would love to hear a fond story you may have about Bobby. Sending peace and love....

Maggie and I have been watching the Golden Bachelorette! You remind us of Joan! I don't watch that franchise but it makes it fun seeing some you know!! Well kind of!!

We express our deepest sympathy on your loss of Robert. We know how important he was to you and we understand your sadness. We lived three houses away from the Spitkovsky family on Holly and then Robert bought a house approximately three houses from us on Carlow. It was always nice to see him outside with Theo and we would talk when he would take Theo for a walk. Robert will be missed.

We offer our deepest sympathy on the loss of Robert. Sadly we just found out this information today or we would have paid our respects. Robert and his family lived three houses away from us on Holly and again on Carlow. We would talk on his many walks with Theo.
