Victor Michael Jacobellis, born April 18, 1948, in Chicago, IL., passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Burr Ridge, IL holding the hand of the love of his life, Jenny.

Victor's infectious smile and kind, generous heart touched everyone who knew him. He lived life to the fullest- always on his terms and his larger than life personality made him the heart of every party.

His parents fondly called him their very own Peter Pan. Nothing brought Victor more joy than sharing stories, laughter, and good company. His passions included golf, fishing, cigars, gin rummy games with his fellow Midlothian Country Club members and the thrill of thoroughbred horse racing – both as a fan and an owner.

He was a survivor of one of Chicago's historic tragedies, Our Lady of the Angels school fire on December 1, 1958. Victor proudly served in the Naval Air Reserve, Glenview Naval Air Station, from 1970 to 1978. After graduating from Northeastern University in Chicago, his entrepreneurial spirit took flight. He went on to found and lead Rose Productions- single-handedly building a successful advertising, public relations and marketing agency that served the Chicago area for more than 35 years.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer Jacobellis nee Mohr, his children Michelle (Gil) Dick, Garrett Jacobellis, Peter Haligas and Melissa Haligas and grandson Moxon. His siblings, Kathleen Lurito (Jack Scatena), Jillian Jacobellis (Sam Cassidy), James (Mary) Jacobellis, Dawn (Geoffrey)Boscoe and Michael (Sharon) Jacobellis; brother-in-law of Melissa (Andy) Mather and Katherine (Chris) Behrens. He absolutely adored his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Vincent and Phyllis Jacobellis.
