I cant believe what I just read and all this time I had no idea this had happened,and to a really great person, I grew up and went to Willow Springs School with Missy, I have good memories of Missy and my old friends from Willow Springs...Im truly sorry for your loss....

Just thinking of all the memories I have makes me hurt more for your family. Here I am so many years later wondering.... Is justice going to take place. Our family thinks of missy and the family so very much.

To all of Melissa’s immediate family, please let me tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Because Melissa was the best part of my day, I can’t even imagine the pain you face, but I want each of you to know how close I feel to you, and let you know that I will always be there to help you in any way needed. Her passing has left a void in my life that will be impossible to ever fill again. Her bubbling personality and happiness was infectious to everyone she came in contact with. In my 39 years on this planet, I have never met such a strong, independent beautiful happy woman. She lived every day to it’s fullest and was the warmest most thoughtful person I have ever met. It was an honor to be in her life and I will never forget her.

My heart goes out to you. I was a very good friend of Missy's. I use to live in Indiana and moved to Florida 3 1/2 years ago she would always keep in touch w/me by sending me a card, just to say hello w/a smile. I also went to Jamaica w/her and Cat and she was always smiling. We had a great New Years of 2000 together in Chicago, moments like that i'll cherish 4-ever. I have great pictures of us. Missy will live in our hearts forever! She was beautiful, sincere, genuine, intelligent, fun, creative & never afraid to "tell it like it is" I will cherish memories of growing up with her forever. We were blessed to have the privilege to know
& love such a special person. I pray some comfort will come from knowing she is in a better place & we will see her again.
Remember she's playing with Chewy & she would want us to be strong & try to focus on all the good times!

This shouldn't have happened. Our hearts are torn apart. We will always love Missy.

Our thoughts & prayers are with you in this most heartbreaking time. We have watched Melissa grow up for the past 20 years. Her life taken from all way before her time. Our words cannot take your pain away, but we will all get through this together. I speak for myself & all the POKER girls when I say we are here for all of you.

I am sorry for the sudden and tragic loss of Missy. Melissa and I attended NIU together. She was always loud, vibrant and ready to have fun! She even managed to make class and studying for tests less stressful. No matter how you felt, when she walked into the room, you knew you would be smiling soon.
