Maury Falstein Obituary

He was the 'best' of bothers in-law one could ever hope for over a span of over 60 years.

I was saddened to learn of Maurys passing. As you know, my parents Joyce and Jack were very close to Maury and since they can't, I wanted to send our condolences.

We would like to express our sadness at the loss of your father. It sounds like he was an extraordinary man who made a significant contribution to his family and community.

I have many fond childhood memories of walking over to visit at his home. He will be missed.

Though he was a second cousin, I always knew him as "Uncle Maury." We always lived within a couple blocks when we were growing up, and he and his family were friends as well as relatives. My heartfelt condolences to Milly, Dick, Linda, and all of Maury's friends and loved ones.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dad and grandfather. You were fortunate to have him for as long as you did and now have many fond memories.

I worked for Maury for nearly 10 years and always thought of him as a gentleman and a gentle man -- a real mensch.

Uncle Maury was a kind and loving man. My family will miss him very much....We have many happy memories to keep him with us always.

My grandfather was a very special person in my life, and I will miss him for ever.

He was a great man, and will be missed very much.

I am the son of Ed Dean (Sun-Times photographer who died in 1973) and I'm a former part-time Sun-Times employee. Maury Falstein was truly the nicest and kindest man there according to my father and me!
