Beverly and Larry Falstein were "the" couple at Emanuel Congregtion when I joined in 1985. "The" couple because they devoted so much of their time and thoughts to making Emanuel stronger. When Bevelry was in charge of dinners, the room was always magnificient and the dinner delicioius. The evening was always special. Her dinners at their home were second to none in imagination and warmth and delicious food. Larry's sense of humor and Beverly's many talents are so greatly missed. Now they are together once again. My condolences to their family members and loved ones who will miss them and remember them.

Bev (& Larry & Lyndy) will always be an integral part of growing up in Chicago. I cannot remember a day while living on Eastlake Terrace that my mom and Bev weren't chatting over the 'intercom'. Truly the end of an era.
