Fr. Toolis and I were in the Christian Brothers Scholasticate together. His cheerful, friendly and smiling disposition was loved by all. Brother James Athanasius and I were close friends as principals of High Schools in Lansing MI. Fr. Toolis' Aunt Briget was a a special acquaintance of ours since we got acquainted with her at Fr. Toolis' ordination. May our loving Lord be with Fr. Martin in the eternal live of His everlasting Love. Please pray for us.

Father Toolis was the Christian Brother, at the time, who guided me to the join the Christian Brothers. He was kind and thoughtful at the time, and I had the opportunity to live and work in Christian Education with his blood brother, Brother James Athanasius for several years in Lansing, Michigan and Chicago. God bless them both and may their reward be eternal happiness in heaven. Brother Kevin Fitzgerald, FSC currently of De La Salle Institute Chicago
