Anna Caponigri Obituary
Anna Marie L. "Aunt" Caponigri. Beloved daughter of the late Sebastian "Ben" and Vincenza "Jennie" nee Gofreda. Loving sister of Dr. Rocco S. and the late William R. "Bill". Dear aunt of Christine (Todd) Frech, Rocky (Luz), Carolyn (John) Newlin and Great Aunt of Maria, William, Elijah, Sofia, Veronica, and John Rocco. Anna Marie was the proud godmother of 6. Cherished friend of Archangelo Aliano. Anna Marie will be lying in state Saturday from 10am until the time of the mass of Christian burial at 11:30am at St. Josaphat Church. Entombment will be privately held at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Therese Chinese Catholic Church on givecentral.org would be appreciated. Marie's funeral mass will be livestreamed at facebook.com/saintjosaphatparish. Arrangements made by The Jaeger Funeral Home 773-545-1320

Dear Caponigri Family
I was most saddened to hear of the loss of Anna Marie. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rocco and Family. I am a neighborhood friend. Our parents and grandparents were friends from Santa Maria Incoronata Anna Marie was a kind and graciously lady. I would meet her on the bus when I began working as she was going to her job downtown at the bank. Just a pleasure to talk. Her and Archie would make several retreats that I would run into them. I also remember " aunt Jennie" being a fabulous cook. I am very close friends to Camille Marra- Rubin and her son Joe. May Anna Marie sit at the right hand of the Lord to suffer no more. May she rest in peace. I know this is a huge loss for all of you.
