DEAR EDNA AND FAMILY,
I MET YOUR MOTHER WHEN I VISITED ALICE AT RIVERSIDE. AFTER A FEW VISITS SHE ASKED ME IF I KNEW AN EDNA ROBERGE AND MENTIONED SEWING. OF COURSE, THAT BROUGHT BACK SOME FUN MEMORIES OF HIGH SCHOOL DAYS AND OPENED UP A CONNECTION BETWEEN ME AND ALICE'S ROOMMATE. EVERY TIME I'D GO VISIT,I'D REMIND HER TO TELL EDNA TO GET SEWING! IT ALWAYS MADE HER LAUGH. I KNOW YOUR MOTHER HAD A LOT OF PHYSICAL PROBLEMS, BUT SHE WAS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY AND I ENJOYED HER.
I'LL MISS SEEING YOUR MOTHER AND SO WILL ALICE,WHO SAYS SHE MISSES HER VERY MUCH.
ALL MY SYMPATHY TO YOU.
