Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed:
I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Did
You wonder how I so calmly trod the valley of shade?
Oh! But Jesus' love illumined every dark and fearful glade.
And he came himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread.
And with Jesus' arm to lean on, could have no doubt or dread.
Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's will.
There is work still waiting for you. So you must not idly stand:
Do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in Jesus' land
when that work is all completed. He will gently call you home:
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come! I am home.

Pop, you'll be missed a lot! Every time I go to the beach I can't help but remember those vacations I was blessed to spend with the Johnson's, my second family. Thank you for your friendship and guidance throughout my life!

Here in my peaceful valley
Being one of God's creations
Surrounded by His beauty
My heart fills with elation

Among wonderful friends and family
I am blessed with a life of peace
And a place to worship you, dear Lord
Where the cares of life release

Sometimes it makes me wonder
If this is my Heaven on Earth
Or if I'll inherit that eternal place
And be deserving of its worth

Dear Lord, please let me always
Be of the faithful ones
And fly with You to Heaven
When my time on Earth is done

All that I am now
Or ever hope to be
Comes from Your blessings
And my trust in Thee

My strength and my courage
Flow down from Above
I'm safe in Your shelter
And shielded by Your love

When life seems so empty
And I just can't go on
I talk to You, Jesus
Till all fears are gone

My faith keeps me steady
When my spirit is weak
I look up to Heaven
For the answers I seek

Lord, let me always
Walk the straight, narrow way
Don't let me stumble
Nor go far astray

Take me to Heaven
When my life is through
For all that I am, Lord
I owe to You

Dear Lord, I'm feeling down again
As I humbly come to you
I need Your love and guidance
To help me make it through

I know You're always with me, Lord
I feel Your presence near
But sorrow overwhelms me
And my heart is filled with fear

Let me feel your strength, dear Lord
That I might somehow endure
Fill me with Your blessings
And help me feel secure

Please take my hand and guide me
Help me to see the way
Fill my heart with gladness, Lord
And let me never stray

Take away my selfishness
That my soul may be set free
Let me sustain my faith in You
And take all doubt from me

Make me a better person, Lord
To help others along the way
Let me forever walk in Your light
As on my knees I pray

Amen

When I am weak and weary
And my life feels incomplete
I take my burdens to my Lord
And place them at His feet

His loving presence surrounds me
In this place where flowers grow
And clears my mind of daily cares
Where blessings abundantly flow

Water rustling in a tiny stream
The happy chirping of playful birds
Enjoying the peace, my Lord and I
As we communicate without words

Tearfully, I open my heart to Him
A soft breeze touches my face
His voice like music to my soul
Holding me safely in His embrace

My heart and spirit rejuvenated
There is contentment beyond belief
His soothing presence comforts me
All my cares and worries release

Ever thankful for His sacrifice
Because of Him, my redemption assured
Striving to remain with the faithful
Vowing to Him that I will endure

As I leave, His love envelopes me
I marvel at His awesome powers
Knowing I can always find Him here
In my peaceful garden of flowers

When our hearts are burdened down with care
And our lives constantly run on overload
Our souls are so weary and heavy-laden
That we fear we can't travel life's road

The devil throws obstacles in our way
To fill our thoughts with doubt and fear
Feeding on weakness and anxiety
Causing us problems we think we can't bear

When our minds and bodies become sinsick
And burdens of life seem to overwhelm
We need to lift our hands toward Heaven
Where Jesus is always at the helm

All He asks is that we love and trust Him
Accepting the blessings He has bestowed
Once our souls are cleansed, we will realize
That it's just another bend in the road

Blessings From Above

When I'm lonely and discouraged
And don't know where to turn
I raise my eyes toward Jesus
For His loving care I yearn

He knows my every weakness
And forgives me when I err
He fills my heart with wonder
And listens to my prayer

My Lord knows my every need
Gives me abiding love
My faithfulness and courage
All come from Heaven above

He sustains me when I falter
And takes away my fear
He walks with me along life's way
And always lingers near

When I gave my heart to Jesus
I felt joy beyond control
I thank Him for that blessed day
When He saved my sinful soul

Watching a beautiful sunset
When my heart is heavy with care
Brings me closer to my Lord
And I know that He is near

Viewing God's majestic handiwork
Brings happiness to my soul
And a feeling of contentment
To know He's in control

The precious beauty of His love
And the wonders that He gives
Makes my spirit feel renewed
For within my heart, He lives

If I am lonely and melancholy
And worry begins to overwhelm
I fall down on my knees and pray
To stay forever in His realm

When my spirit feels defeated
And I fear a gathering storm
I surrender my burdens unto Him
God's wonders to perform

This World of wondrous beauty
Was created by God's own hand
But nothing on Earth can ever compare
To the glory of His promised land

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do
to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms
and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time
for your heart to heal, and
your loved one has a place
that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven,
no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness
for all eternity.

We must go on living and
do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name
we will be with them again.
Your grief goes beyond
what words can express.

There's nothing anyone can say,
and nothing we can do
to heal your broken heart
or take away your pain.

Let God take you in His arms
and cover you with His love.
He knows the depth of your grief
and only He can give you peace.
He knows it will take time
for your heart to heal, and
your loved one has a place
that no one else can fill.

If there's any comfort let it be in this,
your loved one is with Jesus,
in a home that's filled with bliss.
There are no tears in Heaven,
no more heartache and no pain,
only love and happiness
for all eternity.

We must go on living and
do the best we can,
then when Jesus calls our name
we will be with them again.

God Saw You

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

My prayers and thoughts are with you during this challenging time. Be encouraged that God will definitely sustain you, comfort you, and see you through. He continues to do that me and my family, and will undoubtedly do the same for you. Love you all. God bless!

GOD HAS CHOSEN THIS SPECIAL PERSON FOR A VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN HIS KINGDOM.MY GOD STRENGTHEN THE FAMILY AND MAY YOU CONTINUE TO ASK HIM TO GUIDE YOU.EVERYONE IS PRAYING FOR YOU...

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crost the bar.

When I am dead, my dearest

When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.

I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I, disappointedly, only met him a few times, but knew, by instincts, he was a great man, inside and outside of his family. He made me feel like family, instantly and I appreciate that! I only wish I could have known him longer. A true gentleman! Rest in Peace, knowing I will take great care of your granddaughter, Belinda! My sympathy and condolences go out to the entire family!
