In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of days gone by when Billy and Jean would come and visit Aunt Kate and Uncle George on a Saturday afternoon. Those were such good times and the memories are still here.
But I know where is his now, dropping a line off the pier of Bobbie and Jan's cottage in LAC DU FLAMBEAU Wisc.
along with Uncle George.
My deepest sympathy to the family. My prayers are with you.
