Dear Sweet William,

Bill - You were a true friend. We met at Florida Southern College and shared the great bond of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, which was very special to both of us. We worked together in related industries, you as a gifted real estate broker and myself at a general contractor. I learned a great deal from you on both a social and business level. You were very good to my family. All of us will miss the boat trips, the exceptional jazz music and most of all; YOU. Thanks for being the exceptional person you were, and everything you did for me.

Bill, I was so wrapped up in the sickness and untimely death of my Husband, that I didn't see this until today. We grew up together, spent alot of time walking around Allen Park School and surrounding streets. Unfortunately, as happens in life, we went in different directions. I married at 20 and was married for 42 years to Jim Woodby. He entered eternal life on May 15, 2012 at the same facility as yours. I saw you at class reunions, and would hear about you often through others. May God's Pure Blessings surround you in your perfect home now. Say Hello to my Husband. Love, Sarah

Bill, I remember when you moved to Ft. Myers. We were only 10, but from that first day you made friends so easily and became a friend to so many. You have always been there for me. You always cheered me up when I was down, gave me confidence when i did not believe in myself,always saw the good in everything, always had a solution for everything.I knew that I can always count on you to have an answer for everything. I am going to miss my dear friend. I know you are in heaven and will still continue to be there for me. I love you, and miss you dearly.

I just heard the sad news. My heart goes out to you, Shelley. I feel very fortunate to have known Bill and worked with him during his time running Jazz on the Green. The experience I gained working with Bill helped to shape my future career path. I will be forever grateful. Bill made a very positive impact in our community and on his many, many friends.

Bill, my great friend, I'll miss you very much. We had lot's of fun together and some great conversations. It's hard to believe you are gone. The children of Lee County thank you for all that you did for them.

You are already missed by so many of us who have known you through the years. It was such a wonderful experience at Hospice House watching you get honored with the "Key to Ft Myers" from the Mayor. But most of all, I will cherish the memories with you & Shelley & all our wonderful friends through out the years at "Jazz On The Green."
