I remember coming to your folks house on Glad ave, in Elmhurst as a kid and seeing all the cars you cut out from the newspaper every year. I wish you were still here with us. You will never be forgotten. Your cousin Jerry.

My deepest sympathy to the Nicholson family for the loss of Bill. He was one of the real good guys that came out of the York High Class of 1956.

Sorry my first entry was blank.
To my friends the Nicholsons:
I am deeply saddened by your loss. Mr. N. was a great jokester, who brought much needed levity to a much too serious world. He will be greatly missed.

We still can not believe Bill is gone. When we saw him for his uncle's funeral he looked so good and healthy. We know he missed Nancy a lot but I don't think she was calling him. Our prayers are for his family, especially for his Mother. She will truly miss him the most.
May God be with you all aways.

I WANT TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR YOUR FAMILY ON THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER. I ONLY SAW HIM ONCE A WEEK WHEN HE CAME TO DELIVER THE PAPERS BUT HE WAS ALWAYS A DELIGHT TO TALK TO. I WILL MISS HIM GREATLY BUT KNOW THAT HE IS HAPPY WITH YOUR MOTHER. HE WAS SUCH A KIND AND CARING MAN. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU DURING THIS TIME AND COMFORT ALL OF YOU. I KNOW THAT HE WILL BE WATCHING OVER HIS FAMILY AS HE WOULD SPEAK OF YOU WHEN I WOULD SEE HIM. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU.

To the entire Nicholson Family I extend my deep sympathy in the loss of your son, father and grandfather. It is hard to believe both Nancy and Bill Nicholson have left us. They were both so full of life.

With love from Woodridge,

WOW, I don't know what to say! I guess first and foremost would be to extend my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to Bill's daughters and spouses, his son, his grandchildren and his mother. You all meant the world to Bill, as he spoke of all of you often. I've worked with Bill since he came to The Fox Valley Shopping News. Bill always had a joke to tell, a crazy story, whatever it was, he always had a smile on his face, and he somehow kept that brave front up as not to burden anyone with the agonizing pain he suffered through since the loss of his dear wife Nancy. Nancy was his true soul mate and the absolute definition of his "other half". I truly feel that Bill left this world from a broken heart. I know I will surely miss him always teasing me, and seeing that ole beat up rust bucket Shopper van that he clunked around in everyday will be bittersweet. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time, may God bring you peace. Bill's friend and co-worker, Dianne Sizemore

I'm truly sorry to hear that a good friend has passed away.It seems like time has flown by since I had Bill's Son , Bill Jr. , in my class at Meadowview School and Bill and I dreamed of opening a business in Indiana. Time just got away from us. Iwill keep him and his family in my prayers until we meet again.
