William Moran Obituary

Moran, William F. 69, of Oregon and formerly of Lombard, died Tuesday October 16, 2007 in his home. Born April 7, 1938 in Chicago, the son of Stephen and Sarah (Moylan) Moran. Married to Karen Carlson April 18, 1964 in Chicago. Bill worked as a lithographer from 1964 to 1988 at various sites including Lehigh Cadillac Printing and Regenstiener in Broadview. He lived in Lombard 1969 - 2000 and since then in Oregon where he belonged to St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Survived by his wife, Karen of Oregon; sons, William P. Moran and Brian D. Moran, both of Wheaton; daughter, Corinne (Kenneth) Lapat of Oak Park; granddaughter, Sara and brother, Norman Moran of Chicago. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Christopher and John. Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 20th, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Oregon with Rev. Richard Kramer, Pastor, as celebrant. Visitation 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
