To The Lucas Family:
What memories came back when I heard of Mr. Lucas' passing. I remember as a little kid my parent's (Joe and Eva Flaherty) calling in the order which was delivered every Friday. Also my brother Pat working at the store for years and the summers at the cottage in Ashtabula which now our friends own. You are all in our prayers.

I was truly saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was truly a wonderful man with a big heart. I cannot express how grateful I am to have known him. He will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to your
family. My family lived on wilson ave,and Lucas market was apart of our daily lives. Such wonderful memories of my childhood, include Lucas's Market. The friendlness of the Lucas family is what kept it a mainstay in the neighborhood.Where else could one get the best meats, and the feeling of being important, as one did at Lucas's. Even after one moved from the neigborhood one always came to do your shopping for your meats and their specials but most of all for the friendly smile and conversation from Bill and the rest of the Lucas family. So at this time may God help your family through this time and my prayers are with your family. Thank You for wonderful memories.
God Bless
and
My Condolences

Our thoughts & prayers will be with all of you during this most difficult time. He was a good man, you should all be proud to call him your "dad". We were fortunate enough to get to know him thru his love for our mom. He is finally at peace, no more lonliness. We will keep you in our prayers. Love, Gary and Diane Solnik
