Henderson III, William James 60, of Winnetka; New Trier High School graduate and tailback football player; Yale University Graduate 1965, and halfback football player, University of Chicago MBA 1967. Lieutenant in U.S. Marine Corps. Reserves and former Smith Barney stockbroker. Father of Mary Frances Lester, grandfather of Hannah and Taylor, son of Mary (nee Brower) and the late William James Henderson II, brother of Schuyler K. and James D. Memorials Service 3 p.m. February 17, at Christ Church, 784 Sheridan Rd., Winnetka. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Yale Office of Development Memorial Programs, P.O. Box 2038, New Haven, Connecticut, 06521-2038, are appreciated. Please note the donation is in memory of William Henderson for financial aid. Arrangements by Wm. H. I was in school with Bill at Faith, Hope and Charity, and also at New Trier. I will always remember him as kind, thoughtful and such a gentleman. Bless his family.

Jim joins me in sending condolences to the Henderson family. Bill was in my class at New Trier and Jim was 3 years ahead of us. We both have very fond memories of Bill and are very sad to learn of his death.
