William Healy Obituary

From all of my family to the family known as the Chicago Police Department, the most heartfelt of thanks to all. My Uncle Billy was proud to be a Chicago Police Officer and loved you all as family. Blessings to each and everyone.

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Thanks for a lot of great memories and stories Bill. Your going to be missed. Definitely one of the more dedicated officers. May God bless you while you sleep.

Loved working with "Wild Bill" in Cabrini Green during special. Great stories, cigars and great advice. For a young Cop (over 20 years ago now) it was like working with your Grandpa.

Although I will miss you Bill rest assured you will live on when I tell funny stories about us working together.

Bill, I will always remeber your interview question, Was Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?, they rarely got it right.

Well they're swapping stories,smoking cigars and laughing real hard and loud in heaven tonight Red. From the old Emerald Isle Club to all the many years on the job to the trips to Acapulco, I'll never forget all the fun I had being with you Bill. God bless you and hold you close till we see one another again and I'll tell you myself.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Bill was one of the best guys that walked into IRA's bar on Madison Always friendly with all the patrons always smiling when he came in and always bought a round and sometimes brought in a pie or two from Chicago sweet connection You will be missed Billy. Thanks for the memories.
