DeWilde, William A. Age 76, longtime resident of Hazel Crest. Beloved husband for 54 years, to Jacqueline DeWilde (nee Jahnz). Loving father of Anthony (Jennifer), Brian, Jo-El (Gary) Morris and Wendi (Warren) Wolfe. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Robert, Morgan, Hannah, Luke and Phillip. Dear brother of Kenneth, Karen, Mary Lou, Michael, Melody and the late Joan, Bill and Dennis. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. William worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for 45 years. Memorial Visitation Sunday, June 3, from 2:007:00 p.m. at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 16801 Dixie Highway in Hazel Crest. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
