To a best freind who stood taller than any man I've come to meet. To me, Billy was a rockstar, a child who grabbed the horns of the life that he was giving and rode it beyond anyones dreams. When I think of Chicago, Junior High and the first couple years of High school, I find it impossible not to think of "CrawlDad". Save me a joke and a beer on the other side. My prayers are with his family..........MN

Bill, I have a lot of fond memories of grade shcool, especially watching my kids go through it now. We had a lot of fun. Sorry we never planned that reunion. Hopefully we will have one soon and offer many a toasts to our old friend. You will be missed.

Julie, Peggy, & Maureen,

My deepest regrets for the passing of Billy... as I had mentioned recently, he and I had spoken at great length only days ago and I am grateful for that last conversation. You should know that he spoke often (and proudly) of the three of you, your parents, and his nephews. He will be sorely missed... I trust completely that God has him now in gentle hands and that somehow, somewhere Billy is seated with your parents at the white formica kitchen breakfast table (from your old house)sharing a cup of coffee (or chocolate milk) and a laugh with your mom and dad...Please accept both my condolences and my good thoughts during these difficult times.
