I just read about Bill in the FOP newsletter. My deepest sympathy. Bill and I became best friends while in the Police Academy, and for a while, the four of us did party alot.

My sincere condolences to all the Brannigans on your loss. I worked for the Captain on 019 and still believe to this day that he was the best boss I ever worked for. He was a good man and was so very proud of his sons. His memory will always remain with me.

Bill was a fine man and a terrific Supervisor. I first met him when I was a young Patrolman and our paths crosses many times over the years. He was a big influence in my life and continued to be after we both retired.
