William Brannigan Obituary

I just learned of bill death. Can you please tell me if he was assigned to the 5th District in the early 70's. if so, I have a picture of he and I in those days. We were on-duty and having dinner. Thanks. [email protected]

I just read about Bill in the FOP newsletter. My deepest sympathy. Bill and I became best friends while in the Police Academy, and for a while, the four of us did party alot.

My sincere condolences to all the Brannigans on your loss. I worked for the Captain on 019 and still believe to this day that he was the best boss I ever worked for. He was a good man and was so very proud of his sons. His memory will always remain with me.

I am so glad I got to meet you both on our trip to Ireland and so happy that I got to see you last February in Largo, you both looked so good and we had so much fun that day.

Capt Bill, I will always remember how you backed up your crew in 017 when I worked with you, and how you laughed at some of my capers, and never lost that great sense of humor. You will always be remembered with highest regards. God bless your family in this time of grief.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Dad. You and your family are in my prayers.

Bill was a fine man and a terrific Supervisor. I first met him when I was a young Patrolman and our paths crosses many times over the years. He was a big influence in my life and continued to be after we both retired.
