Bill will be remembered fondly by his friend, Tom.

Handsome Billy Bass
Corinne Cain
January 3, 2004
Certainly the most dominant man in my life for over 25 years, Bill Bass was probably a dominant feature in the life of many who knew him. Handsome Billy was a brilliant businessman who mastered almost every business endeavor he undertook-cars, loans, visual arts, real estate development and lastly a Mexican food restaurant called Chimayo. And he loved poetry and opera. Bill wrote poems as well as a complete novel. Had he given half his energy to writing, perhaps he would have been the next Hemingway.
Bill took great pride in the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews. His sisters and brothers were always a focus. Tuesdays with Morrie made him cry. Toward the end of his life Bill strove to direct his financial resources to help causes he believed in.
His death puts a hole in my heart, even in recognition of our very rocky friendship.
