WANDA BRACH Obituary

Wanda J. Brach passed away April 4, 2011. Wanda was born on August 30, 1923, the daughter of the late Robert and Valerie Fritz. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1941. On August 24, 1947, she married Joseph S. Brach, who died on September 29, 1980. Mrs. Brach was clerk of Amsterdam Police Court for 16 years and was secretary to Attorney Michael J. Riccio until her retirement in 1990. Mrs. Brach was a communicant of the Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church and was active in many church activities. She was a former Sunday School teacher, past president of the M.K. Society of the church and financial secretary of the church council. She was a member and past president of the former Truax Road School P.T.A. and a member of the New York State Court Clerks Association. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Kenneth Trzaskos; a sister, three brothers, nieces, nephews and many friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Church, Amsterdam. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County S.P.C.A., PO Box 484, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Amsterdam Funeral Chapel.

We are so saddened to hear Aunt Wanda has passed. She was a vibrant soul, with a heart of gold. When she entered the room, it lit up. She will fondly be remembered. R.I.P. Aunt Wanda, you are Loved. Lovingly, Frank, Phyllis, Phillip, Catherine and Dominick Riccio
