Wojcik, Walter C. "Jip" Age 84, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado since 1999 and formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Friday, March 5, 2004 in Colorado Springs. He was retired after 34 years of service as a United States Postal Carrier. Walter Charles Wojcik was born on December 23, 1919 in Chicago to Stanley and Sophia (Karpouriz) Wojcik He attended schools in Chicago and served in the United States Army during World War II and received the Bronze Star. Jip is survived by his loving niece Jeanette (husband, Scott) Herring and their daughters Cindy (fiance, Eric) Daniel, Tracy Daniel and Christy (husband, Chris) Torchalla and their daughter Savana, all of Colorado Springs. Mr. Wojcik is also survived by a cousin Tex (wife, Vickie) Bunteen of Houston, Texas and their sons Charlie and Joshua. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses in Colorado Springs.
