Walter Klos Obituary

Klos, Walter F. "Willy" age 90, joined his wife Violet "Vi" Klos (late January 23, 2009), on January 26, 2009, when he passed away at their home in Tinley Park. Married 66 years, the Klos' are formerly of Riverdale and Bridgeport, and are survived their children Kathy (Dan) Ward, John Klos, the late Keith (Laura Kay) Klos and Debbie (Paul) Handzik, Walter's sister, Jean Staradub, Violet's sister, Lorraine (Leonard) Jordan, grandchildren Debbie Melendez (nee Ward), Laura Lynn Adcock (nee Klos), Tracy Jankowski (nee Ward), Nicole Borys (nee Klos), Joseph Klos, Thomas Whelchel, Angela Kagan (nee Whelchel), Johnny Klos, Keith Klos, Eric Whelchel, and Katherine Whelchel, and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation for both was held Monday, January 26, at Heartland Memorial Center in Tinley Park, Funeral Mass, January 27, at St. George Church, Tinley Park with Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family. For information call 708-444-2266.
