Walter Jandro Obituary
Walter was born Jan. 28, 1930, in West Springfield, Mass., the son of the late Walter V. Jandro Sr. and Lillian Bouvier. He married the former Rita L. Hoddinott at St. Joseph Church in Danbury on Feb. 14, 1953.
Mr. Jandro worked for many years as a printer for the Mideastern Envelope Company in Brookfield and later for Allied Printing in Manchester. He was a communicant of St. Matthias Church, East Lyme.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Jandro and his wife, Elonna, of North Carolina; two daughters, Janice Milos and her husband, Richard, of Delaware and Mary Ann Salvatore and her husband, John, of East Lyme; and six grandchildren, Aaron, Jordan, Karen, Kristen, Amy and Anna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Matthias Church, 317 Chesterfield Road, East Lyme. Interment will follow in East Lyme Cemetery, East Lyme. There are no calling hours.
Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
