Beloved husband of Louise, nee Kosel and the late Julia, nee Blameuser; dear father of Donald (Barbara), Marie and David (Mary); fond stepfather of Robert and Linda Houp, Leanne (Carl) Smith and the late Glen Houp; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Fiance Brady VanHeirseele), Laura, Rebecca, Julia and Jason Dahm, Thomas (Kathy) McKeever, Carl and Jenny Smith, Kim and Don Yannotti, Richard and Carie Houp, Janet and George Stanish and the late Amy McKeever; dearest great grandfather of Leanna Louise Smith and many others; fond brother of the late Fred, George, Nickolas, Robert, Jeanette Thimios, Phillip and Henry. Funeral Friday, 10:15 a.m. from Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Church, Skokie. Interment St. Peter Cemetery, Skokie.
