(Laurie), Larry (Antoinette), Cheryl (Lee) Bucey, grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of four, fond brother of The Rev. Edward Cyz, the late Jozef, the late Francis, the late Mary, the late Stanley, the late John, the late Robert, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chaplain Central Park American Legion Post #1028. Member of the Senior Polka Association and Cicero Concertina Club. Funeral Thursday, February 15, 2007, 9:45 a.m., from Szykowny Funeral Home, Jonathan F. Siedlecki, Director, 4901 Archer Ave. (1 blk. East of Pulaski at Szykowny Blvd.), to St. Peter and Paul Church. To the Cyz Family,
We are very sorry to hear of Wally's passing. He was kind enough to attend our Mom's wake in December and we talked about the Seeley Ave "porch club" and our memories of neighbors on Seeley.
Wally was a great neighbor who was always ready to help out when needed.

To the Cyz family, I offer you my sincerest condolances.
I was shocked and saddened upon hearing the news of Wally's passing. I last saw him on Dec. 27, (2006) and he looked great. He will be greatly missed by his fanily and friends. I also appreciate that he took over the treasurer's job at the Cicero Concertina Circle from me when I had to move out of state in August 2003. He was a tireless promoter of the concertina and Polish music, and, he was a friend to everyone. May he now enjoy his reward in Heaven.
