Wally and I worked together at the phone company. He was quite the character to say the least. He had a million stories and jokes to tell and was quick with a laugh. He was kind and compassionate. My daughters will always remember him walking with us from the LaSalle Street station and he carrying the both of them because they could not keep up with his gait. He loved his family and spoke of them often.
