Dad, I love you and miss you. Thanks for taking care of me when I cried and had nightmares. Thanks for helping me build Fort Sumter as a child for my school project and thanks for all the great holidays. Thank you most for teaching me about ethics, integrity and that sometimes good people can make mistakes and to love and forgive them. Thanks for being a special and loving Dad. I miss you and think of you often.
Oh and if you get a chance please stop by Ann's house and help her train the dogs to behave a little better. Scooby can be a handful and we all know how good you were with animals. I remember you even taught Rebel Polish.
Say hello to everyone in heaven and send them my love. Uncle Stan says you're all up there having Aunt Hattie's home made soup.
Take a trip down from the heavens and look in on us. We love you and miss you.
Your Daughter,
Mary
