Vivian Brooks Obituary

Vivian Jewell Brooks, age 94, of Irving, Texas, died Dec 5, 2003 at an Irving hospital. Born Nov 16, 1909 in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Irving. Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Joe Brooks; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Don and Carolyn Brooks of Houston, Charles Melvin and Gerry Brooks of Irving; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Graveside service 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec 9, 2003 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
