Virginia Connelly Obituary

Virgie was such a blessing to our family and she will be dearly missed. We have made a donation to Shriners of Chicago in her memory.

Richard and I are so sorry . Our deepest condolences, your mom was so inviting the first time I ever walked through your doors in Beverly . Her warmth , loving nature will forever be missed and treasured for the rest of our lives . May her and Mike rest in paradise for eternity . So very sorry for your loss beyond words we can express , Nick , Pat and Muffie . Love Always , Richard and Kori and our family .

Virginia was like an aunt to me, and best friend to my mother Barbara. She was a special woman and will be greatly missed.

Virg was a wonderful part of my memories growing up on 106th Place. Adults on the front steps, kids playing games on the dead-end street. A warm and fun neighbor who was an amazing cook, and great friend to my Mom. Challenges never slowed her down, the smile never faltered. She is the last of the "old-timers" on the block. It was a wonderful time!

Virg, I will always remember your smile and that laugh. Thank you for the Sunday dinners with Mike his brother Nick and anyone that dropped in.

Virginia was a treasure and as a sister grandma, I will miss her deeply and cherish memories of her warmth and humor. She certainly raised wonderful children and I see her shining through in them and our sweet grandkids, Frankie and Paloma. Love you, Virginia!

Sad to hear of my beautiful aunts passing.
She was indeed a person filled with light.
I smile when I think of my interactions with her over the years.

Living next door to you has always been a pleasure. Having you over at my mom's, talking about this, that and everything. All the parties & get togethers, block parties and St Pat's day breakfasts. You & mom were the best! I will forever remember the smiles & laughter that you always showed. You will be greatly missed.

My heart is sad at the loss of Virginia. She was always positive and brought happiness where ever she went. I miss her more than I can say My prayers are with Virginia and her family Charlotte Grunhard

I was one of the street urchins she welcomed into her home. She always had smile and made me feel welcome. Love you Mrs. C, will miss you. My deepest sympathies to all the Connellys.

Oh Virg, I don't know where to start. Here goes, we met at Pleasant Valley farm when we were probably about 10. We shared an apartment together and we had so much fun and wonderful memories. I met your cousin and married him and we became family. The Delgado's were a wonderful family. My children love you to the moon and back. I will miss you but thankful for all the memories throughout the years. You lived your life to the fullest everyday. Was looking forward to your visit here in San Antonio but we will reunite in Paradise. Your are now resting with the Angels. Peace and comfort to Nick, Pat and Muffy and all the grandchildren during this difficult time.

You will always be in my mind and heart from the day we met at 5 years old until the day you passed at 77 years old with my hand in yours on our way to Arizona to have our girls week at Mary Lou´s house. I will always remember all the wonderful memories we had together and never forget what a great friend you always were. This is not goodbye but until we meet again. All my love and condolences to your family.

Growing up in Beverly, I went to school with Pat, and Nick. I've only met Mrs. Connelly a handful of times when we were kids, she was very kind and warm. And a great Mom to her 3 children, as well as Mr. Connelly was to all of us. I can say, The parents that raised us then were truly beautiful people, and She will be missed by all of us, May God shine his perpetual light on Mrs. Connelly, and keep her family in his prayers!
