Palenik, Vincent J. age 70, beloved husband of the late Wanda, dear brother of Elaine Keith and the late Daniel Palenik, fond uncle of Elaine (Mike) Cloney, Jennifer (Mike) Majchrowicz and Daniel Palenik, great-uncle of Heather, Michael, Jacky, Brendan, Tony and Connor. Retired from Metropolitan Water Reclamation Department. Family and friends will gather Friday, December 11, 2009 from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 14205 S. Union Ave, Orland Park (1 blk north of 143rd & southwest Hwy). Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. 708-448-6000.
