Vincent Bentivenga Obituary

I am very saddened to hear of the death of my friend. We spent many winters in Naples, Florida. He was a great dancer. Spent time with him at Mongello's,(where we danced.) He was a caring and special person. I will miss his phone calls. He always referred to me as Miss Ohio. Always brought a smile to my face. Vince, keep on dancing. Darla

Guy - I am sorry I couldn't get to the service. I wanted to represent Phil as he was always very fond of you and your brother. Vincent was very kind to Donna and I when we first got married. You both were big favorites of my Grandmother as well. I am sorry for this loss, not just for you but also for all Vincent touched with his kindness. He will be in my prayers right along with Phil.

I grew up with your father. Grade and High school. We we even worked together at Chgo Motor club during college. More recently we would get together during his time as a snow bi rd here in Florida.Some of my fondest memories were playing pool at your great grndfathers pool emporium sfter mass on sunday.My prayers are with you.

I go back to our days in the Young Democrats and working with him in the Sheriff's office, and we kept in touch over the years, even after I retired to Las Vegas. He was a great attorney, very distinguished judge, but more importantly, a wonderful friend. May he rest in peace.

What a kind gentleman. Judge Bentivenga ran one of the most professional courtrooms at 26th Street. It was also a lot of fun for young lawyers practicing law in front of him. One of my best experiences as a Public Defender.

So sorry to hear about Vince - I went to grammar school with him and my brother,Bob, went to Mt.Carmel with Guy. Vince and I stayed in touch over the years until he moved to Naples. I will keep him in my prayers - Edna Morgan Manganello
