Veronica Malinowski Obituary
Malinowski
age 96, of Canton, passed away, Tuesday, May, 21, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. She was born in Canton on July 8, 1916 to the late Paul and Anna Tansek. She married Louis Malinowski at St. Peter Catholic Church in Canton on Nov. 25, 1937. She was a longtime faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Canton. Veronica's faith was extremely important to her and her influence on her family was very profound. She was an extremely loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great- grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Malinowski in 1986; daughter, Veronica Williams on Dec. 27, 2012, and 10 brothers and sisters. Veronica is survived by her children, Pat (Ron) Hammar, Nancy Ferrell, and Donna Marie (Rodney) Whitaker; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren; "adopted son", David Tansek, and her extended family which included many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Canton, with Msgr. Frank A. Carfagna as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, one hour prior to the mass at the Schneeberger Funeral Home (2222 Fulton Road NW, Canton, OH 44709). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her daughter Veronica Williams's name, to: American Cancer Society (525 N. Broad St. Canfield, OH. 44406). Arrangements entrusted to the Lewis Funeral Home (formerly Welch-Sekeres-Lewis).

To THE Loving Family!!! I feel sadden with words and grief for the loss of your beautiful stem of life. In less than 12 months you lost 2 wonderful respects of life. I can only begin to tell you how sorry I am. I share a hurt heart too....
Taking care of your Mother has been so wonderful. I fell in love with this lady the moment I met her along with the branches that she has formed of you. I want to thank you for sharing her with us at The Inn of University Village.... My daughter and son extends sympathy too, moments shared on personal visits will be with my children. I have pictures of them together and we will treasure them.
Please know memories will not be forgotten. She is forever smiling upon us.
