Vermon Bowie Obituary

MS. VERMON JEAN BOWIE, 45, of Memphis, passed away February 7, 2007. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, February 10 at R. S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 11 at New Garden Missionary Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS, with burial in the church cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memory, a special friend, Mark Rimmen of Memphis; one son, Prentiss Bowie of Memphis; four brothers, Adell Bowie of San Jose, CA, Howard Bowie of Des Moines, IA, Dennie and Glenn Bowie, both of Memphis; five sisters, Ruthie Carr, Dorothy Burnett, Bettie Bowie, Erma Harris, and Angela Bowie, all of Memphis; one granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
