Velda was always so great to talk to and those times will be missed. My son Scott and I visited her in Sep. 2006 after I retired and was on a memory trip for my dad, Galen (brother of Velda). We shared some stories and had some great laughs. Gone but never forgotten.

We cherish the fond memories of the dinner parties and bridge games with Velda and Jim. Those many impromptu get-togethers were some of the best times of our lives. May the God of love and peace be with you.

Our first house was fortunately located next door to Jim and Velda Murphy. Our fond memories of that time center around what great neighbors the Murphy family was to us. We will never forget the positive impact that time had on our lives.
