Valerie Holloway Obituary

Holloway, Valerie Denise Age 47, beloved daughter of Harrietta and Kenneth (now deceased), and devoted sister to Tony and Michael, died on February 8, 2015, from complications related to illness. She was a dear and trusted friend to many, including the community of faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Catholic Theological Union. Valerie will continue to be loved for her strong and hopeful spirit that refused to be diminished in the face of challenge, her warm personality and gift for making people laugh, her thoughtfulness in attending to others, her commitment to justice, and especially for her enduring faith. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5472 S. Kimbark, Chicago. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle. Interment to follow.
