Vada Jones Obituary

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Vada Kathleen Anderson Jones, 85, of Keysville Convalescent Center, Keysville, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007. Vada was the daughter of the late Tausie and Lewis Anderson of Jesup, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones. Funeral services will be private. Vada was born in Glennville, GA, and attended school in Jesup, GA and Berry College in Rome GA. She graduated form cosmetology school in 1946 and worked in Dublin until 1973. She retired from Laurens Park Mill in 1983. During World War II she worked as a Ship Filler for Jones Construction in Brunswick, GA. Vada lived most of her adult life in Dublin and Jesup, GA, then moving to Augusta to be near her family. Survivors are a son; Fred Jones , Daughter in Law; Belinda Jones, two granddaughters; Robin Rabun (Mike) and Rhonda Partridge (David), one great grandson; Joshua Partridge and one great great grandson; Caleb Wheeler, two brothers; Marion Anderson (Nell) of Sylvania and Melvin Anderson (Lois) of Donaldson, and a sister; Vivian English of Plant City, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
