Anthony, my little brother. Growing up with you in our little apartment in Brooklyn, then our move to a new house in Staten Island. Both of us only children, happy to acquire a sibling at ages 13 and 10. Though we grew to take very different paths in life, we grew close again as our parents grew old. After they were gone, our bond became even deeper. I was so looking forward to spending more time together in retirement. I miss you, "Lil Brudda". I saved your last voicemail to me, and when I hear you open with "Hey, hey" I say "Hey, hey" right back so it feels like you are right there on the phone for 3 minutes with me. Rest now, in peace, with your Mom Fran and with mine, Henny, who you often said "saved your life". She devoted herself to loving and guiding you through many tough times, and I know you were deeply grateful for her and for me, as we were for you. My love always, your big sis...

Cousin Tony!!! Truly a brother. Every time I hear the song SUNNY I see Tony performing this at our Grandparents 50th Wedding anniversary party. As a young adult my first solo vacation was to Florida and I spent a week with Tony who showed me why he loved it so. He took me to Daytona Beach for the first time. I remember swimming in a pool with him down there and telling him sometimes opera music was so familiar to me that I thought I was his mother reincarnated. (She was an opera singer, my fathers sister who passed before I was born). He swam over to me saying Mom and hugged me. Later I had amazing opportunitys to perform in Chicago and spent some wonderful time at the best restaurants and of course Jillys Piano Bar. As I moved to Texas Tony & his wifes home was always a wonderful place to feel at home and be with family as I drove through Nashville. Last summer I was so excited to be in New York when Tony, his wife, wifes family and sister all got together at my brothers home and we had a wonderful time together. Tony thank you for being such a pivotal part of my life. Your generosity and loving heart will live on in me forever. Rest well Cousin Tony!!! Love you & Miss you!!!
