(nee Stein), loving father of Richard (Maria), Deborah Slepawic, and Cynthia (John) Cyr, dear grandfather of Michael (Heather), Daniel, Nicholas, Kyle, Lauren, and Amy, great-grandfather of Ashley and Alyssa, also many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien, IL, where funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. To Tom's Family,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to all. I worked with Tom & his brothers for a number of years at the Tribune. We had some great times. He was always helpful and great to work with. Sometimes he would crab about the job, but it was more of a front. He'll be missed.
