Grandma, you took me in as your own even though I wasn't. You and Grandpa filled a void in my life at a time when I had no relationship with my own grandparents. You accepted me at a time when I desperately needed acceptance. I remember when I was young, and Grandpa would start to tell me a joke and he would get so tickled before the punch line that you would have to finish the joke. What a wonderful model you have been for marriage you both were. Your absences will forever leave a hole in our hearts. You leave behind a legacy of greatness that will continue to bring you honor. Heavens Gates have swung open wide as all there have waited 103 years for your arrival. Save me a place at the table for the Grand Feast! Until then, go rest high on that mountain!
