I FIRST MET SMOKE WHILE I CHEERED FOR THE BANDITS AND FOLLOWED DAN AROUND. SMOKE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE EVEN WHEN THE BANDITS LOST, WHICH WAS OFTEN. THESE WERE GOOD TIMES THO. SMOKE WAS A SWEET GUY AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. I'M SURE HE IS BUSY IN HEAVEN KEEPIN' TIME FOR GOD AND THE ANGELS. SINCERE SYMPATHY TO GAIL AND FAMILY, YOU'RE IN OUR PRAYERS.

I have great memories of Smokey's smile and laughter. God knows we did enough laughing. He was such a good soul and will be missed. Much sympathy to his family and friends.

I met Smokey in a bar called Marty's. He was the kind of person that you instantly liked. He did favors for myself and my family, the kind of favors that lead to a lifetime of fond memories. A life well lived.

SMOKE AND I BECAME FRIENDS ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF SOFTBALL. I WAS A PROUD MEMBER OF SMOKY'S "BANDITS" TEAM FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. WE SHARED A LOT OF GOOD TIMES AND A FEW BEERS. I ALSO OWE MANY "WHITE SOX OPENERS" TO SMOKE AND THE O'LEARYS BUS TRIPS WHICH HE ORGANIZED TO COMISKEY. HE WAS A GREAT GUY WHO ALWAYS HAD A GOOD WORD FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO HIS SISTER AND FAMILY. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

It just won't be the same at the United Center without Smoke. No one's quicker with a smile or a hug. Never forgot anything I ever told him and always cared enough to check out how everthing was going. Erin and I will miss him.

"Smokey"- Although we didn't stay in touch much after college other than occasionally bumping into each other @ a social event (usually a local outdoor concert in the NW 'burbs) or a Bulls' game, I'll always remember your happy disposition, the fun we had in Alpha Delta Gamma @ Loyola U. & your kindness in letting me bring my son, Andy, down on the floor prior to a game when he was younger (he still talks about it to this day & he's 25). Fraternally, Mac ("Beaver")

I will always remember Thomas' smile and the sound of his laughter. The good times we had growing up at our picnics at Anthony Wayne. To Gail, Elaine and Morgan I send you our love and deepest sympthies. Love you, Marilyn and Uncle Eddie
