To The Family Of Tom Sachs,
I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing, and would like to express my deepest sympathies to you for your loss. Tom was a remarkable gentleman and I always looked forward to his summer visits. We had many hours of discussions from which I always felt enlightened. His knowledge and wisdom were tremendous, but it was his compassion and understanding of others that I liked most. May you find comfort in many fond memories today and always.
Yours truly,

Roger Marshall

Dear Zolton, Deb, Justin and family,
I am thinking of you all at this time, please know that my prays are with you.
My time spent with Tom left me with such a high regard for him. Clearly, a very intellegent man with many dreams. I will remember him for his jolly and energetic appproach in conversation, and his endearing smile. I hope that Tom's journey, for where ever it may lead him, be a joyous and peaceful one. May he discover a place beyond his wildest dreams.
Gods speed Tom!

God bless.

I worked with and for Tom Sachs sporadically over a span of roughly thirty five years, usually at his post on the sixth floor of the Cook Physical Science building at UVM.
I was always impressed by his pleasant and optimistic manner and his enthusiastic and energetic approach to his many ambitions.
He always remained pleasant, yet persistent in his quest for further knowledge in the particular field we were involved in.
His inquiring mind will be missed.

Dear Elizabeth and Zoltan and family
I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He certainly tried as hard as anyone I have ever worked with to be well. He was such a decent person, wanting to do right. Always thinking of new projects trying to connect people. He has left a great legacy and will be missed. I will make every effort to attend the service.
