Tom,
I really do not know what to say to you other than I will miss you forever, but never will you be forgotten. Billy has many stories that I have yet to hear. I am sorry that you had to go early in your life, but know this, you and Lori gave our family a beautiful and very loving and bright legacy that I am so very proud to say is my family. I have learned many things from you, but the one I will never forget is to love and honor family. I will miss you greatly, but one day will see you again, so keep a bar stool in the sky open for me, okay? I love you forever big brother.

Uncle Tom
You will be missed. You were such a kind and gentle man who would do anything for anyone in need and ask for nothing in return. You were proud yet humble. You set an example to all about what it means to be a human being. You were strong for others yet you knew how to be weak. You were the rock to lean on but you weren't afraid to ask fo help. You were generous with your love, wisdom, humor, time, money, anything you had to give you gave without a second thought. You hung in there when the going got tough and never complained. You taught your children what it means to forgive. You never held a grudge, never had a foul word to say about another. You knew what your shortcomings were but never made excuses. You were a proud and loving father who despite all of your hardships managed to raise 6 wonderful, intelligent, generous, loving and remarkable children. You married your gradeschool sweetheart and more than 21 years later you loved her as much as you always did. You never gave up on your family. You were blessed by god with so many talents. You could sit down with a crayon and paper and create a work of art that had taken others years to create. You would write poetry and turn it into song. You never turned your back on a challenge. You injured your arm and despite the pain you played the bass again. You were a voice of reason when the *$%@ hit the fan. You were like a magnet to all whom knew you. You drew us all in, even the fish would flock toward you not knowing their fate. I could go on and on about the gifts you have left all of us but the truth is you have been taken too soon. You had so much more to give and I am sure the best was yet to come. I know you are out there right now we can still feel you. I am sure you are up there telling them about that muskee you caught in the U. P. or you are going through play by play of one of TJ's football games, better yet you are pulling out your best jokes and they are all rolling around laughing. You would have known how to calm all of us with a quick quirk. What else is there to say an exceptional human being was born onto this earth, left and exceptional impression in all of our hearts, and left in an exceptional way. Thank you for being my uncle, thank you for loving me.
