Pastsy and clan,
Obits are always full of beloved, cherished, dearly loved, etc. This is true of some. But these verbs definitely apply to Tom whether you were immediate family, further down the road or a good friend. You were cherished and very important to him. He made you know it. Still miss him and treasure the years I was blessed with his friendship. It helps to know he's with my Dad. God help them up there!
Luv Cher

Aunt Patsy,
Uncle Tom will never be forgotten. He was one of the funniest and nicest people I've ever known. I loved him very much and will miss him a lot but I know he's in a wonderful place...probably telling a joke right now!
Love always,
Morgan

Dear Aunt Patsy-
I will miss Uncle Tom, he was always so funny and always made me laugh. I will never forget when he used to tease me asking "Where's Courtney?" when I was standing right in front of him. When I would yell "Here I am!" he would turn the other way and ask again where I was until he finally said he saw me, I would laugh and realized it was a game. It will always be a great memory. Love Courtney

My Gramps sure was one of a kind. He always had a corny joke prepared before you came over to visit, and he could always put you in a better mood than when you walked in. All of my friends adored him and loved to go visit Grandpa and Grandma Moody, because they made them feel like they were their own grandchildren. I think I speak for all of the grandkids when I say that our "Gramps"/"Papa" was at the top of the list for BEST GRANDPA. Before my Gramps passed away I knew how wonderful of a person he was and that he always had a way of making you feel special, like there was no one in the world quite like you. However, as I read this guest book and after seeing the turnout for his services (which were estimated to be over 1000 people), I saw how many lives he had touched during his lifetime. I know that he sure has touched mine. If I could grow up to be half the person he was, I would consider my life a success. I love you so much Gramps and miss you more than you know. Things aren't the same without you. I would say that your only problem was not knowing how good you were...but you did :) Love you, Gramps.

A true treasure has been lost! Tom was a friend to anyone who needed a friend. His compassion for his fellow man was very subtle but truly felt. His sense of humor carried him thru a long period of illness. The day before he died, he still had a way of making you laugh. I will truly miss my friend.

Mr Moody and Frank McGuire were my first coaches playing basketball at St Chris and were a tremendous influence on me pursuing basketabll in HS.
Mr Moody made our practices and games so much fun not to mention all the pranks he pulled on Frank Mcguire.
I also recall answering the phone on numerous occassions from Father Brown (aka Tom Moody) calling my dad (Dave Hearne) to meet him at Chuck Cavalinni's to discuss St Chris school business. I didn't know until years later it was Mr Moody.
Those guys knew how to enjoy life and Mr Moody was the ring leader.
My deepest sympathies

We share your sorrow. Tom shared medical history with my husband, Ed, from the time we moved to Midlothian many years ago. They are now sharing eternity together with the Lord and we will remember them faithfully. God bless you always and especially at this time of loss.

My deepest regrets to all!! Tom was so full of life and what a sense of humor we both worked for Beatty Lumber and If some one told him to do something he didn't like he would say I'll get right on that when I get back from Cleveland, And then say I'm never going to Cleveland.Tom could always get you to smile on a bad day.Tom you will be missed by so many, I know your smiling down on us.

Mr. Moody will always be one of my favorite persons. He always made me smile, whether it be from a joke or his running from our old dog, Sully! I will miss him, but he will continue, always, to make me smile!

Mrs. Moody, Maribeth, Tom, Katie and families...
A better next door neighbor we could not have asked for. Many, many great memories and lots of laughs!! Mr. Moody (even though once married he asked me to call him "Tom"...couldn't do it!) was a wonderful man who I never once saw in a foul mood!! Many wonderful memories including mowing the lawn in a suit coat...only Mr. Moody could do that!!! Your wonderful sense of humor will be missed.

My deepest regrets to all! Tucker really enjoyed his life to the fullest. His sense of humor & reality were examples we all should live by. If only he could learn to tell a joke. Celebrate his life like he did!

To a man never short on jokes ... my favorites was how he would take your hand like he was going to kiss it, and then kiss his own. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and what a legacy he left with the entire Moody family. God bless and God speed, Mr. Moody.

I knew and admired Tucker both in Canaryville and at De La Salle, where I was one year ahead of him. He was a gifted athlete.
