It's been a few years since I worked with Tom, but I treasure every memory. He may have been my "boss", but he was a truly heart-giving human being. May God smile down on his family and help give them strength.

Always remember and never forget.

McFadden Family:

I only had the pleasure of meeting Tom on a few occassions, mainly family events connected with Marty and Joleen's wedding where Tom was Best Man. It was obvious how much he took after his father "Tom" in his zest for life and pride in his family. We are all better people for having met him and we will remember him with fond memories.

I have known Tom for close to 20 years as his attorney. Tom and I, aside from discussing business, would have long discussions about our children who were close in age. He was so proud of his family. It was always a delight to talk with Tom, because he was upbeat and had a delightful sense of humor. He always had ideas for new ways to expand his business. Before acting on his ideas he would make sure they were well thought out. He was a very intelligent, kind and decent person who I will sorely miss.

We always felt Tom was a great man. It is nice to see how many others agree. It's hard to describe how much we miss Tom. He was always there for us in happy times and sad times.

Our love and prayers to Mary, Meagan and Kelly.

My dad has been the most wonderful example on how to live your life to the fullest. He has taught me so much about life, love, sports, tools, school. My dad taught me so many things that I will never forget. He loved his truck, the 'Blue Blur'! One powerful machine. I felt so priveliged to be able to drive it. I am so happy I had such a wonderful father. He has always been so good to my mom, he really really loved her with all his heart. They were the best couple I've ever seen. He was always supportive, driving Kelly to Penn State without one complaint. He was so proud of her, getting into a great school. He was so proud of my boyfriend Dan who just bought a house, helping him with the offers and dealing with real estate agents. I'm going to miss those text messages all day long on my phone with him telling me he loves me. My dad was a wonderful, intelligent, sweet man who accomplished so much in his life. I am going to miss him more than anyone can imagine.

Thank you Pa, for all you have given me, the opportunities you worked your butt off for just so I could experience them, all the things you have done for me. I never could have asked for a better father. Because I know he was the best I could ever have.

I'm lucky to have you in my life for 22 years, Pa. I will cherish every moment we spent together. I love you and I will miss you.

My deepest smypathy to his family as I was very saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I knew Tom when he was with Trailmobile even before he started his business many years ago. I always considered him more than just an honest and faithful customer of Stur-Dee Metal Products. I like to think we were one of his first vendors, and I believe we are to this day (I am retired and out of the business for a number of years).

He will be missed by many of us.

Tom,

You were always a pleasure to talk with for many years. While you always had a lot of great ideas on your business, you did always light up most when you spoke about your family, and especially your daughters, Meagan and Kelly. A man who loved his family as much as you did, is a very fortunate man.

I am grateful to have known you, Tom, and will remember you as a happy man who helped me. You will be missed by many people. Our prayers go to your family.

There are not enough words to describe such a truly great human being. I will always be thankful for the friendship and advice he always gave me.He always made the time to listen to any suggestion or problem when it came up. He could make a bad day a great one with just one of his wisecracks. Thanks for the knowledge, friendship and opportunity.

Tom, when I first met you in 1982 like your father, Big Tom, you made me feel welcome and loved from the start. You never stopped making me feel loved with you contact, encouragement and interest. You married a great lady and raised two wonderful daughters. I see you in all of them.

Love, Joleen

I'm very lucky to have known Tom. A very warm and generous man, who always lit up the room when he walked in. He held other peoples' interest close to his heart, as if they were his own. I will truly miss him.

Tom and I had dinner on the 19th the way he talked about his family made me feel as if I had known them all my life.

He kidded with me about how he was the only man on earth whose mother in law loved him because she set him up with his wife. He showed me pictures of there house and how the whole family loved it the first time they saw it so they bought it right on the spot. He was most proud of his family and he lite up when he talked about Meagan and Kelly and that they must take after there mother who he could recall the first time they met as if it was yesterday.

I will miss Tom very much and pray for him and his family through this very tough time.
