Thomas McDermott Obituary

What a fine tribute to "papa".... Family and friends all walking down Fairfield Avenue towards St. John Fisher Church to celebrate his life at a beautiful and touching mass. I think Michael said it all when he said one could go on all day sharing memories and endless stories about his dad. Uncle Tom always had a warm smile, and kind word and often a corny joke whenever he greeted you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Marion, all her children and their families. We will all miss "papa" but his many stories will be with us forever. Love, Timmy, Theresa, Kevin, Katie & Megan

Uncle Tom was always one with a warm heart, a hearty handshake and a thoughtful question about family or friends.



Growing up, he used to always ask about our dog Wolfgang. Funny thing is that wasn't our dog's name. Uncle Tom knew that, but loved to joke around, especially with the kids.
