God’s Garden

God looked around His garden And found an empty place.

He then looked down upon the Earth And saw your smiling face.

He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful, For He always takes the best.

It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone.

For a part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

If we could have a wish today, It would not be for silver or gold,

But just to have you back with us, To have again to hold.

As we look upon your pictures, Sweet memories we recall,

Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all.

A million times we needed you, A million times we have cried.

If love could have saved you TOM, You never would have died.

Day's have passed now As we have watched in sorrow.

Knowing that with you, There will be no tomorrow.

With your giving heart And your warm embrace.

We will never, ever Forget your smiling face.

Tom you will be deeply missed by all. This is the hardest thing I have had to do in my life, to say goodbye to my best friend. God took you too early and why I do not know nor understand. I will miss your smile and laughter. You left a mark in my heart that I will never forget and this has got to be the hardest thing for me to do but to say REST IN PEACE MY BEST FRIEND.

And to the Leahy family my deepest sympathy and regrets I'm so very sorry.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the Leahy family for their loss and although we will never ever understand why Tom was taken from us so soon, we have to believe that he has moved on to a better place. We have many wonderful memories of Tom that we will cherish always. We were so fortunate to have Tom in our lives for as long as we did and know that only time and love will help fill the void that his passing has created. We were proud he called us friends and even prouder to call and have him as one. We will miss you Tom-cat. More than words could ever describe. Your loving friends, Stevie D., Chrissy D. and Gatsby.
