dear ann and family,

tom higgins was one of God's favorite sons. there are those of us who believe he had a direct line to his creator. he helped so many including myself. he was a dear friend and mentor. he taught me so much and was always there for me. he came to california in 2000 to speak at one of my meetings, he knew how much it meant for me to have him in my home here in california. he always told me to keep smiling and to keep helping others. i will carry his memories with me for the rest of my life. he still lives on earth in the acts of goodness he performed and in the hearts of those who cherish his memories. as he always ended his leads, shares and phone calls to me, "have a great day in paradise." i know he is!! God bless you all and know that Tom Higgins Sr. was a great example to so many of us. he is so loved and will be missed. love to all, tom's friend , Jimmy Cohn

Thomas, Brian and family;

Your father was one of my first mentors in the plumbing industry, even way [way] back when I was just a 'gopher' draftsman. He always 'treated' people with his presence by the interest, attention and knowledge that he willingly gave and shared. He never had to feign anything with me, for he was the real deal. I have met very few who had Tom's gentle spirit.

God Bless

Michael

Dear Ann and Family

I have never known anyone like Tom and don't expect to again. He was always so willing to help anyone. Recently at a lunch with many of his friends I mentioned to him what a wealth of friends he has. He is a very "rich" man and I am proud to be a penny in his pocket.

To Ann and the Higgins family,

We were so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Tom's dedication and devotion to the plumbing industry and his family were beyond words. Oh what a loss! He ranks up there with the good o'l guys that are a thing of the past! His smile and wit were one of a kind. We rememeber when he was the rep for Delta and the parties at his home. Times that will "always be remembered". Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Higgins family during this difficult time!

To the Higgins Children and family-

Although you don't know me personally, I feel very connected to you at this time. My father, Donald T. Cook was a life long friend of Tom's and my dad passed away last March. When I heard your father has passed away, I feel an enormous sadness for you all. The stories we heard growing up about your father made him feel larger than life. My father admired and loved your dad. The day before my dad passed away, Tom had called him. I was there as they chatted and it will always be one of the memories I cherish- of both your father and mine. It was amazing to see the connection they had and how it transended time. Because of the respect I had/have for my father's standards and view points -- I had to respect and admire your father and what he will always mean to my parents.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers at this time. God Bless to "Mr. Higgins" and his family

Thomas J. Higgins was more than likely the greatest salesman the plumbing supply industry will ever know. But we’ll all remember him as the greatest fun-loving guy you would ever meet. He was the life-of-the-party with never a need to draw attention to himself and lovingly including everyone as part of the fun. I never heard him say a bad thing about anybody and I never saw him make an ugly turn towards anyone. I’ll remember his smile, mostly, and he was our greatest audience.

He had the best wife, the sweet, adoring Ann Higgins we all love. Ann, I am so sorry for your loss, we are here for you, as always, but, please remember we all have so much to be thankful for and we will cherish our years with Tom and your family.

Actually, my first statement might not be telling the whole story. Mr. Higgins, you were simply the greatest ever. I’ll miss ya like hell, so God Bless the Higgins and all their family, friends and associates.

Love,

Jerome
