Hayden, Thomas E. age 76, passed away December 23, 2007, at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, IN. Former longtime resident of Palos Park, late of Chesterton, IN. Veteran of U.S. Army, Korean Conflict. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Malacina), loving father of Radford (Delia) of East Point, MI, Thomas E. Jr. (Edie) of Houston, TX, Frederick (Eileen) of Westmont, Mary-Therese (John) Hoffman of Chesterton, IN, Mary Clare (Joseph) Wilson of New Lenox and Martin (Margie) of Houston, TX, devoted grandfather of 20, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hayden was an international businessman, one of the first to conduct business in China. Funeral Monday, 10:30 a.m., from Gerharz Funeral Home, 501 State St., Lemont, to St. James at Sag Bridge Church in Lemont. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Interment Church Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Info: 630-257-2123.
